The Company is a benefactor of a mineral market with a massive appetite for new gold resources. In direct response, our management has strategically positioned Cameo Resources’ focus to include the acquisition of the Katoro Gold Property, located in an established gold region in Tanzania.
Cameo’s Katoro property covers 19.58 Km2 situated within the Sukumaland greenstone belt within the Lake Victoria goldfield (LVGF). One of the most important mining sites in Africa, Tanzania’s LVGF holds several multimillion-ounce gold deposits and has continuing operations by some of the largest gold companies in the world. The concessions have not been explored by modern methods until now.
Our first objective on the Katoro Gold Property is to explore and evaluate surface gold potential on the property, and second to investigate the prospects for deeper underground gold resources, creating a robust pipeline for future development.
