22. Mai 2025, SURREY, British Columbia – Cameo Resources Inc. (CSE: MEO) („Cameo“ oder das „Unternehmen“) freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass es in Ergänzung zu seinen Pressemitteilungen vom 13. März 2025 und 30. April den Erwerb zwischen voneinander unabhängigen, nicht verbundenen Parteien aller ausgegebenen und ausstehenden Aktien der 1154308 B.C. Ltd. („Privco“) abgeschlossen hat, die die Rechte hält, einen 100%igen Anspruch, Rechtstitel und Anteil an den Gold-Liegenschaften Katoro (die „Liegenschaften“) zu erwerben, die sich in der Region Geita in Tansania befinden, und zwar gegen Optionszahlungen in Höhe von insgesamt 500.000 USD. Die erste Zahlung in Höhe von 250.000 USD wird nach Abschluss der Due-Diligence-Prüfung durch das Unternehmen fällig. Die zweite Zahlung in Höhe von 250.000 USD ist innerhalb von sechs Monaten zu leisten.
Das Unternehmen gab 13 Millionen Stammaktien an Privco-Aktionäre zu einem angenommenen Preis von 0,075 USD je Aktie aus, um 100 % aller ausstehenden Aktien von Privco zu erwerben. Diese Aktien unterliegen einer Haltefrist bis zum späteren Zeitpunkt von vier Monaten und einem Tag oder dem Datum, an dem das Unternehmen einen Unternehmensakquisitionsbericht in Bezug auf diese Transaktion einreicht.
Highlights der Katoro-Liegenschaft:
- 12.52 km2 große, über Straßen erreichbare Liegenschaften befinden sich etwa 170 km südwestlich der Stadt Mwanza und 63 km südwestlich der Region Geita.
- Das Projekt befindet sich innerhalb des Sukumaland-Grünsteingürtels (Sukumaland Greenstone Belt, „SGB“), in dem sich auch die Buckreef-Mine befindet, und liegt entlang desselben Streichs innerhalb von Katoro in den Lake Victoria Goldfeldern im Nordwesten Tansanias.
- Die regionalen geophysikalischen und strukturellen Gegebenheiten deuten auf ein Explorationspotenzial für bedeutende Goldmineralisierungen innerhalb der Projektgebiete hin.

Die Gold-Liegenschaften Katoro
Die Liegenschaften umfassen 12,52 Quadratkilometer und liegen innerhalb des prospektiven Sukumaland-Grünsteingürtels innerhalb des Lake Victoria Goldfield (LVGF) (Abbildung 1). Als einer der wichtigsten Bergbaustandorte in Afrika beherbergt Tansanias LVGF mehrere Goldlagerstätten mit einem Umfang von mehreren Millionen Unzen, und einige der größten Goldunternehmen der Welt sind dort derzeit tätig. Die Konzessionsgebiete werden bereits seit einiger Zeit von Kleinbergleuten abgebaut, was durch die zahlreichen flachen Gruben und Gräben belegt wird, in denen mit Eisenkarbonat umgewandelte mafische Vulkanite (Basalte) sowie Quarz-Feldspat-Porphyr-Intrusionen zutage treten. Gold kommt in Verbindung mit grauen Quarzadern und -strängen vor, die ein Pinch-and-Swell-Muster aufweisen und parallel zur Struktur der Ost-West-Scherzonen verlaufen. Die Konzessionen befinden sich in einem größeren Gebiet, in dem bereits mehrere Unternehmen Explorations- und Bergbauaktivitäten durchgeführt haben, darunter die TRX Gold Corporation (TSX:TRX), AngloGold Ashanti plc (NYSE:AU) und die IAMGOLD Corporation (TSX:IMG).
